KHARKIV—This morning I ran through contrasts--the spectacular flower beds and green lawns of a music-and-laughter filled city park, adjacent to the glass-strewn ruins of bombed-out buildings. This is life in Kharkiv, a city reawakening. Meanwhile, some Americans who claim to admire pluck are using their large platforms to attack the pluckiest, freest people on earth. Why?

THE BIRDS OF FREEDOM—Max From Kharkiv Explains Why This Drone is Necessary
I post this from the bold, elegant Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, just 30 ominous miles from Mordor aka Russia. But recently, on a two-day retreat with friends in Ukraine’s Carpathian mountains, a refuge from Russian bombs, I recorded this video with my friend @neivanmade, great Ukrainian artist. We are helping our friend Max in Kharkiv to purchase a powerful strike drone for the 92d brigade that defends Kharkiv and Bakhmut.
Max’s team made a video comparing this drone to a falcon, and incredibly, as @neivanmade and I made the video promo for the drone, a falcon flew above in the Carpathian mountains at the great @residence_mc6 . In the Ukrainian language, this type of falcon is called the “wind-fighter”: soaring against the odds.
That’s what we are all doing. Whoever donates the most for this drone will receive the @neivanmade print visible in the last slide.
