In these dark, foreboding days, I want to share with you my recent interview with the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Azman, part of a new podcast Land of the Free with Ukrainska Pravda, legendary independent media in Kyiv.
Even in the hell of war, and having been under direct Russian shelling in Kherson, the Chief Rabbi is a force of light. We recorded this a week or so before Hamas's invasion of Israel—and the rabbi was warning about the Russia-Iran alliance.
A native of Soviet Russia, he gives good insight into what it means to be spiritually free, even if we’re under physical threat.
He sheds light on the dark rhetoric of Russia—and Hamas—which is stepped in the language of “kill, kill, kill.”
