MYKOLAYIV REGION
In Mykolayiv yesterday afternoon, the enemy shelled the city's infrastructure facilities. It is known about one dead and two wounded.
In the Mykolayiv district, shelling of the territory of the village Nova Mykolayivka was recorded twice. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. There are no casualties. In the Bashtan district, the surrounding territories of Berezneguvate, the villages of Vysunsk and Kavkaz were shelled during the past day. Information on the consequences of shelling is being clarified.
Yesterday during the day and this morning - shelling outside the village Chervona Dolyna. As a result of the shelling, there was a fire at the agricultural enterprise. There are no casualties. Also, on August 31, approximately at 06:00, there were shellings outside the village Shyroke. There are no casualties.
KHERSON REGION
Fighting continued throughout the day. Residents also heard automatic queues on the streets of Kherson, in one of the city's microdistricts, the occupiers were checking private houses, looking for partisans.
The humanitarian situation in the Kherson region remains tense. Since the beginning of the war, 2,617 civilian objects have been damaged in the region, a large part of which are housing objects, medical and educational institutions. The situation in the villages bordering the regions is critical.
Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant:
Russia is deliberately shelling the corridors through which the IAEA mission is supposed to reach the Podolyak nuclear power plant
A convoy of IAEA vehicles left for the Zaporizhzhia NPP
Ukraine will receive 5.5 million potassium iodide tablets for radiation protection from the EU
