SNEAKY TIMES
1. Despite weekend attacks on Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson, it has been 54 days since the Russians have launched a major coordinated nationwide attack on Ukraine. This gets ignored in global headlines.
2. Today, the British PM went to the unusual step of making David Cameron a baron so he could bring him back into government, as Foreign Secretary. When he was Prime Minister, Cameron—like the Obama-Biden administration—stood by quietly in 2014 when Russia took Crimea from Ukraine. For the next 8 years, at the behest of global ruling elites, Ukraine agreed to ceasefires with Russia, giving Russia time to prepare for its big invasion. We see something similiar now with the calls for an Israeli "ceasefire."
3. There have been indications of progress in the Ukrainian counter-offensive, with Ukrainian border guards raising the flag in a previously occupied village and Ukrainian soldiers crossing the Dnipro River.
4. The Russians have been targeting and destroying not only lives but also cultural landmarks, such as libraries.
